Elon Musk is spending $100m (£80m) to set up schools and a university in Texas as the world’s richest man complains of a “meaningful degradation” in the skills of graduates.
Mr Musk is planning to open a primary and secondary school in Austin focused on science, technology, engineering and maths (Stem), which will ultimately expand to a university.
